Reverse Shaft
The reverse shaft normally contains the reverse idler gear only. If reverse gear is synchronized the gear will not move on the shaft. If reverse is not synchronized it may or may not slide on the shaft to come in contact with the counter shaft and output shaft. The G56 transmission has a synchronized reverse gear.
