Output Shaft
The output shaft is connected to drive shaft that drives the rear wheels to make the vehicle move. The output shaft may contain fixed gears, speed gears, and synchronizers. Some transmissions have all the speed gears on the output shaft like the G56. The output shaft of the G56 contains all of the speed gears and the synchronizers. The graphic shows the speed gears and synchronizers.
